This study examines the crucial role of the English language in advancing
renewable energy education in Uzbekistan. As the country shifts toward sustainable
energy solutions, the demand for English-language resources, training materials, and
academic collaboration is increasing. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were
gathered from students, professors, and renewable energy experts to assess how
English proficiency affects access to global knowledge, research opportunities, and
technological tools. The findings reveal a significant gap between the recognized
importance of English and the actual proficiency levels among students. The study
underscores the urgent need for English for Specific Purposes (ESP) modules tailored
to the renewable energy sector. Strengthening English education within technical
curricula is recommended as a strategic move to foster international cooperation and
accelerate Uzbekistan's energy transition
