Abstract

In today’s globalized legal environment, English has become a crucial tool

for legal professionals across the world. This article explores the significance of

English language proficiency in the field of jurisprudence, particularly for modern

lawyers who are increasingly required to engage in international legal discourse,

access global legal resources, and participate in cross-border transactions. It

highlights the role of English in legal education, comparative law, international

litigation, and professional development. The study emphasizes that mastering

English not only enhances a lawyer’s communication skills but also opens doors to

broader legal networks and career opportunities.
