In today's globalized academic and professional environment, English
language proficiency plays a crucial role in higher education, particularly in
economics. This article explores the common challenges faced by students in
developing their English skills within the context of economic studies and suggests
practical, student-friendly solutions to overcome these issues. Drawing from real-life
student experiences, academic literature, and institutional practices, the paper
emphasizes the importance of incorporating English learning into the economics
curriculum. It highlights how improving language skills can directly impact academic
success, access to international resources, and future career opportunities. By
addressing these challenges through a combination of curriculum changes, additional
resources, and active student engagement, it becomes possible to create a more
inclusive and globally competitive academic environment for economics students
