Abstract

This article studies the phenomenon of lexical interference in language learning, exploring it from multiple academic perspectives, including linguistics, sociolinguistics, psychology, and psycholinguistics. Lexical interference, a crucial topic in translation studies, refers to the influence of one language's lexicon on another. This article also analyzes the nature of lexical interference, its underlying causes, and strategies for minimizing its impact during translation. Key concepts such as the violation of language norms, the emergence of new words, and the psychological mechanisms contributing to interference are explored.
