The prevalence of English loanwords in fields such as computer technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and factoring has significantly shaped linguistic and educational practices in Uzbekistan. This study examines the role of these borrowings in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) teaching, focusing on their adaptation into the Uzbek language and their implications for vocabulary acquisition and communicative competence. By bridging the gap between global and local linguistic practices, this research contributes to the development of ESP teaching in Uzbekistan, ensuring that learners are equipped with the skills necessary for effective participation in global discourses.
