Abstract
This article does not compare the epics of Alisher Navoi and Muhammad Fuzuli. on the other hand, it is a proof that it is necessary to create studies dedicated to the comparison of the works of these two thinkers. Mohammad Fuzuli's epic is somewhat different from Alisher Navoi's "Layli wa Majnun" in terms of composition. For example, the great Azerbaijani poet finished his epic in the masnavi genre like Hazrat Alisher Navoi, but he also turns to other genres - ghazal, murabba', rubai, sokinama. This method serves to increase the effectiveness of the artistic image in the epic, and secondly, by moving to a new poetic form, it turns the reader's mind towards a deeper understanding of the essence of the matter. Thirdly, it helps the reader to feel more clearly the state of mind of the hero of the work. The skill of the two creators is more perfect and beautiful in the illumination of the portrait of Majnun. Since Laila is a woman, her description is much easier and rich in similes. And the comparison of the portrait of the madman naturally unfolds in harmony with his psyche.
