THE ROLE OF AXIOLOGICAL APPROACHES IN ENHANCING HUMANISTIC VALUES AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: PEDAGOGICAL PERSPECTIVES

This article analyzes the pedagogical potential of axiological approaches in enhancing humanistic values among university students. In modern education, the focus is shifting from purely knowledge-based teaching to value-oriented learning that seeks to form well-rounded individuals. The study emphasizes that universities are not only institutions for academic training, but also centers for cultivating moral responsibility, cultural sensitivity, social consciousness, and personal integrity. By integrating axiological principles into pedagogy, students are encouraged to reflect on ethical dilemmas, respect diversity, engage in community service, and develop empathy as part of their professional and personal identity. The article also discusses strategies such as designing value-based curricula, applying interactive methods, fostering role-modeling by educators, and promoting civic engagement. The findings highlight that adopting an axiological perspective in education is crucial for preparing graduates who are competent professionals and active, responsible citizens in a global society.
