This study explores the poetics of the motive of disclosure in English and Uzbek detective
works, focusing on how the act of unmasking or revealing the truth shapes narrative structure,
character development, and thematic depth. The research emphasizes the literary devices, stylistic
choices, and cultural contexts that contribute to the aesthetic and moral value of disclosure in detective
literature. Comparative analysis highlights the similarities and differences between English and Uzbek
traditions in representing investigation, mystery, and revelation. By examining the role of disclosure as
both a narrative climax and a moral resolution, this paper provides new insights into the artistic
features and cultural dimensions of detective writing in both literatures.
