Abstract

This thesis explores the challenges and prospects of developing private banks in Uzbekistan. It examines the regulatory environment, economic conditions, competition with state-owned banks, and the impact of digitalization on the banking sector. The study also provides an analysis of key obstacles and proposes recommendations for fostering a more competitive and sustainable private banking sector in Uzbekistan.
